Camping down the line

Camping Down The Line - 2.1.04  Part 1
WALT: Understand the text as it is read (comprehension). Screen shot 2014-03-16 at 2.55.49 PM.png
1. How many people were in the car? List them: Their was six of them.

2. Why do you think they were driving late at night? Do you think the trip was planned? No cause the reason why I think they didn't plane the camping is because if they planned to go on a camping trip then they would of gone somewhere where they can see.

3. Why did the family start laughing? The reason why the family started to laugh is because their dad said that he was ugly.

4.  How do you think the kids were feeling about the trip and why? I think they were happy.

5. How do you know the twins were excited?  By dancing like a monkey.

6. What is a big jack? A big jack is a sandwich.

7. What does the author mean by ‘dropped off’ in  the text. It means they fell asleep.

Early finishers: Using a paint app, draw how the twins were feeling or a big jack. Post this to your blog explaining what you have drawn.

Eatting Pikopiko

Today in our reading time me and my group were learning about pikoipko it is a kind of fern that only grows in New Zealand it is the most favorite food in the whole life.

Identifying Fractions

Today this is what we learned about maths today we were all using our brains, and we all were learning about our fractions.
We were learning how to go from Smallest to Biggest.
Like: 1/2 1/3 1/4 1 whole. It was really fun we got to do all of the shapes by our self.
Most of all the most important thing is thinking before you write or draw something.
When I was learning I was wondering which one was witch then my brain was full of lots and lots of ideas, like what I am doing right now giving you information before it goes away from me and, I forget what I am going to say to you that's why I always think before I learn, @Pt England School.

The year Fives and six's Camp.

Start writing below:

Would you ever sleep at Pt England? Well guess what? I am too. This week!

This coming Wednesday,Thursday and Friday the year five’s and six’s student are going camping at Pt England. The people who are coming to our camp is the teacher and the people who are coming is the, Teacher the fathers and the students.

The one thing I am really really! Excited about is Kayaking, because I have never ever kayaked in my whole entire life and, most of all the other reason why I am so so so! Excited is because we get to go to the mangery pools on friday, and  most of all get to make yummy food and the kids always makes the, best sweets of all.

The reason why that I love camp is because we always get to do fun things and we get to sleep in tents, outside the classroom and most of all we get to make fire and make food out of the fire most of all have mushrooms and eat it off a stick and , I bet it will taste yummy.
The most exciting is the day we all get to go to the Mangery pools for our last day of camp and have our last time of having fun and, thank the teachers and our dad’s for being our most grateful security in camp and then we will all pack up and pack our clothings go and, say thanks to the teachers and tell them thank you for providing this camp for us, and we will never  forget this day today was the best day ever.
