Blueberry Muffins - Food Tech
Today in food tech we had to make, Blueberry Muffins. The equipment you will need to make Blueberry Muffins are , two bowls (one for wet and one for dry ingredients), spatula, whisk, and measuring cups. The ingredients you will need are, self rising flour (or any flour), sugar, vegetable oil, and one egg.
Before you start baking, make sure you pre-heat your oven to 180 degrees. Take your two bowls and pour 1 1/2 cup on flour into one bowl, following by 1/2 a cup of sugar. Get your other bowl and put your one egg in, put also 1/2 a cup of oil and 1/2 a cup of milk. Stir till well combined. Once the wet ingredients are well combined, you then mix it into the dry ingredients, make sure their is no lumps left in the mixture.
After combing both wet and dry together, get your muffin tray and use your egg wash brush to brush the oil onto the muffin tray, making sure to evenly spread the oil in each
muffin hole. Once that's done, grab a table spoon and start to scoop one table spoon into each hole. Any excess batter, just add into each of the hole. Once your batch is finished, grab your blueberries and put them on top of each muffin (you can use any berries of your liking), make sure to push the berries down so they can bake inside the Muffins.
After you finished topping off your muffins, put them into the oven at 180 degrees and let bake for 15-20 minutes. Once baked you can take out and enjoy :)) Happy baking!!
