Thursday April 30th 2015 Term 2

In New Zealand there is a school called Pt England, there is a class ( Room 6 ) hey are learning about a new technology.

There teacher ‘ Mr Goodwin was the one who was introducing, a little something called a, ( Makey Makey kit.) He was using fruits to make a controller. The students thought it wasn't going to work. But they waited patiently to see the magic. Matt Goodwin the teacher was putting the pieces together, as he was putting the pieces together he brings out five fruits. One was a pear and the rest were kiwi fruits. He stuck the things in the fruit and connected it to his laptop and started to play a game. It actually worked.

The reason why is to show the theme for the month which was, ( Tinkering Tools & Toys.)

ANZAC Service

Why did we surround the field of remembrance? The reason why we did it, is so we could remember them, and also remember the life they have lost for us to live, and save their family members at home. We also stood their to thank them if it wasn't for them we wouldn't be here with friends and families.

Do your teachers ever feed you some tasty school made mini pancakes before? In ASSEMBLY!

Well of course something like that happened like this morning and everyone was just sitting up smiling and some serious trying to get some food.

P1-

While we were walking in we saw, Mrs Garden, Miss Nua, the Prefects, and Mr Jacobson, also their was a drone which was controlled by a phone. As they were severing, Mr Burt talked about our new item which was,Tinkering Tools & Toys. After that he called up ( Team 1 ) Their theme was about Healthy food healthy body, and healthy Teethes, then they started to hand out, sandwiches and carrots also salaries sticks. Sooner or later it was time for item two. Item two was Winnie the Pooh and his friends trying to build a new house for their friend the donkey, he no longer like his house so they came up with good ideas. Later on it was time for team 3. Teams threes item was about using stuff around you when you are bored so the built things and had fun. Then time for team four four four.

Team 4’s item was on a rainy day and Mr Backs had nothing to do so he plays a game and he picks Mr S as his hero. Then he fights the evil and then when he got to the end he lost to Mrs Jacobson and a fish.

After all those cool and funny items Mr barks went on stage and he was talking all about something he did when he was little, he was talking about something he invented, so he pulled it out of the corner and he showed us his old Hovercraft, and he told us that he had to use a leaf blower to get it started. But first he needed an assistant so, he called us Mr S, he rushed up their and he helped to get the engine running for the leaf blower, then Mr S hopped on and he was floating in thee air, then Mr Barks gave him a little push and off he goes back and forth and just about, to crash against the wall.

After all that laughter and excitement, it was time to get up and go. But before we went Mr Burt did he said one last time, “ Say Tinkering Tools and Toys.” Then we all said it again “ TINKERING! TOOLS! AND! TOYS!.” We all said it very loudly. Then it was time to get up stretch and go to class, and then it was learning time.

For I reason I had no Idea what I was doing so I made this so everybody could make there own desert for there mothers for mothers day. Have a good time, oh and Mr Goodwin you have to make some for you Home class please.

Easter Baskets

Me and my mum were just sitting thinking about making Oreo truffles small ones and one HUMONGOUS one. So we made some, and we got an idea to make them and to make some Easter baskets, so I made a presentation so everybody could make one. Have fun. (:

What Easter is really about

When Easter comes up, me and my mum are going to make… Some DELICIOUS CHOCOLATE! I can already taste the delicious taste in my mouth I feel like I am about to drool all over the house.

Easter is not all about chocolate, its all about Jesus Christ resurrection. It was when he was crucified on the cross and he lived once more, that day merry saw the stone moved from the wall and an angel appeared saying to Marry, “ Do not be afraid of me dear merry, for God has resin Jesus once more.” The angel said. Merry was happy very indeed, as she walked she saw Jesus, and she went to touch him but he had said, “ Do not touch me for I shall see my father first.” He said.

So that why Easter is not all about chocolate. But Jesus and God would want us to have fun and not to, be foolish but to be kind and gentle. Never ever forget that Easter is all about “Jesus Christ resurrection.”
