Newspaper tower challenge

Introduction:

Do you think Mr Goodwin is drinking too much coffee? Two weeks ago he was feeding as chicken flavored warms, and today he is telling us to make a tall newspaper tower! WHERE DID THE TRUE MR GOODWIN GO?! Read on to find out more information.

How it all started
We were all sitting on the mat in our literacy class, all wondering why the table was moved away and why there were newspaper in front
of us. As he was talking he started to talk about, making a tower with newspaper, we had to go in groups, it was
Mr Goodwin only gave us about, 8 MINUTES! We were all panicking we were scared we wouldn’t finish in time, nah just kidding we were just surprised we only had 8 minutes.

Our Materials/Action
Our materials were only
one long strip of masking tape, of course we would need newspaper and scissors then we got started.
As we got started we rolled the newspaper and we made a platform for it to stand on, when we made it we made sure that we made it tall enough to win. We were put on too much pressure we only had 5 more minutes left! So many things to do such little time. My group were working fine we were just in a rush, after about 4 minutes WE ONLY HAD ONE MINUTE!!!!! AHHHHHHHHH! We were rushing picking things and sticking things on only 50 seconds on the clock we use up 30 more seconds only 20 second left 15 seconds gone 5,4,3,2,1 and TIME UP.

Results:
We were in the final round some of them didn’t even get started, only two who were in the last round it was us and Rosalinas group. We weren't sure who was going to win, we stood their big and proud of what we made, Mr Goodwin measured it “ And the winner is… TALITAS GROUP!?”
We were happy and jumping up and down like a kangaroo saying “ We WON we WON!”

Conclusion:

I felt really happy when we were making it, and plus I was really extremely panicking so much in their I thought we were going to lose instead we won I never doubt our group. Heheheh.
