I am going to miss blogging for a week because I will be gone to a, camp. But the thing I loved the most this term was the comments I got, I loved all of your guys comments but I can not wait till term 4 to start, blogging new and interesting things. See you next term and have a great holiday!!!

Trip to the dentist / Where did they go?

WALT: think about my purpose and reader by planning my recount.

When literacy started the dentist rang for me, I went and she did something to my teeth. When she was done, I came back noticing that my literacy crew has left. I was wondering where they have left too. I turn around and go outside and see them walking back, but as they were walking back some of them were holding eggs that was really weird.

When I was sent to the dentist, I was walking their I see a bunch of girls on the way to the dentist, they all were just twirling around. But when I got outside I see a teacher with a student playing handball, I was talking to myself in my head saying, (Isn’t that student supposed to be in class?)Then as I was walking I got to the dentist and see that a woman was waiting for me standing there, she opened the door and in I went, she took me to room 3 and I lay down onto the chair and it fell back and went up. She gave me a pair of dark sunglasses so the light won't get into my eyes.

Then she asked a me a question, she said “ Is your mum OK for me to pull your teeth out?” I replied “ Yes she is fine with you pulling my teeth out.” But before she did she had to numb my tooth first so it won’t feel too painful, ( The thing that she was using to numb my teeth tasted like mint. )
When she was done she got that big thingy and yanked my tooth out I couldn’t feel a thing.
After that she gave something soft so bite on, she told me to bite on it as hard as I can, so I did as she said. Then she gave me a paper and said to me, “ This paper means you won’t need to come to the dentist until next year.” I said in my head ( That's a long time ) Then I took that thing out of my mouth and chucked it in the bin. Before I left she said to me, “ The numb feeling should go away before morning tea, but if it doesn't then eat on the other side of your mouth.

Then as I was walking back to class I see no one there in my literacy class, they were all gone. I was wondering where they have gone I was lost, I was just standing outside looking around for them, but then I hear a lot of chatter outside and it was them, but the strange thing is as they were walking back to class, they were holding eggs in their hands, some were cracked but some were perfectly together. I was wondering why they were holdings eggs for I was really confused.

When I was at the dentist I felt scared and nervous but when it was done I felt better then ever, but when I got back from the dentist I was so, confused and mixed up on
(A) why they were holding eggs and (B) Where they went.
I was still so so so confused!!!!!


Walt: Use onomatopoeia to help create interest in our writing

Description of Learning : 
Last week, Ms Tito's literacy group, (Known also as Mr Goodwin's literacy group) learned about Onomatopoeia. Onomatopoeia is a word that mimics the sound of a object or action it refers to. When you pronounce a word, it will mimic it's sound. E.g : Zip ! My dress was fastened and the girl was finally ready for the wedding. Anyway, our task was to go on to Google, then we had to type up Onomatopoeia. After that, we had to choose an Onomatopoeia to draw. As soon as we are done doing that. Then we had to think about what the word is used to mimic the sound of, and then we draw it. Then we had to colour, cut out and take a photo to display on our blog.

Description of Learning :
Today we wrote a different type of poem. We wrote a writing your own poems using nouns, verbs and adjectives. With our teacher we discuss the structure of the poem. And we also completed an example together. The Example poem we wrote as a class was about cross country. The Structure of our poem was : 1 Noun, 2 Verbs, 3 Adjectives and 1 Verb. In my poem it is about Motorbike. I put words that make you want to ride an amazing motorbike.

Market Day Recount

Team 4 Market
WALT: Write an interesting and detailed recount.

Have you ever heard of the team 4 market day?
Well that day is like the coolest day ever!!!!
Because we will be able to buy cool products, from different groups it is awesome.

There are many I mean many groups like. . . . . . . Kitchen, musical instruments, Jewels and accessories, home ware, Custom stationery and toys. I am in Jewels and accessories, my partners are Alisha and Lahval. Trade and enterprise is a day when of course we can trade stuff and buy stuff. It is a day when we can get into our group and start selling the products we have made to make money they are called
( Pt and Pieces )  

Every group had to move to a different class room like, Jewels and accessories, toys, and kitchen. The rest of the groups stayed in the team 4 space. Jewels and accessories, toys were moved to the team 3 space, but kitchen was sent outside in the porch.
Me and my group started to set up our stuff we made a big poster and we hanged it in the front of the tables. We had to use two table for all of our stuff to fit.
After that we put all the products that we have made on the table so they would be able to look at it and buy it.

At the market I was buying many thing, but the things that I wanted to buy most of all was some drums so I could wake up my brother whenever he sleeps in. My friend Roimata told me that one bucket was 3 pt but then she cut down the price for me and for me one bucket was 1pt and 50 pieces, so I got 2 and all together was three pt, and I gave that amount. After that I went to Latu she was in costume stationary, she was selling book marks they were 1 pt and 50 pieces and I bought one all together I lost 4 pt and 50 pieces I only had, then I spent my last 50 pieces by buying one of lahval’s bracelet and that was all for me.

After buying some products, I went straight back to my group and we started making more and selling more products. It was really fun selling and making stuff especially when they came out good.As people were coming to buy our products, we were kinda sorta running out of bracelets and we weren't fast enough, the only things we had left were some rings, I was panicking. I tried my best to make some more but by that time the market was over we packed up started to clean and we went into the team 4 area. It was pretty fun.

It was pretty cool I loved it because, I could buy stuff but also I was really happy that I got the drums, because ever since I got them my brother has been waking up earlier than ever.
It was so fun making and selling and buying, I just feel like going back in time and doing that whole again. But most of all I had this really nice feeling a warm feeling jumping up and down with joy.

We have been learning how to make and create our own poems. 
We had to describe one thing but make it sound like something else.
Like making Mr S sound like he is a panther something like that, it was really really fun to create especially when they cam out good. I loved making poems with my friend it was so much fun. I hope you guys will make one two I would love use have a go at it. Well enjoy (:

Job application

Applying for a job

I am applying for a bank teller, the reason why is because I think that I am suitable for the job because I have the skills of a 
( Hardworking /Trustworthy and also sensible ) Person.

I do have some previous experience like, working hard at home by doing the duties around the house some times and also cleaning my room, also being trustworthy like being truthful, also being sensible whenever there is visitors at home. 

I would love to have this job because it is hard and it can help me with my maths also it is good for my brain so I can think get more smarter so that is why I think I will be suitable for this job because it sounds like the kinda job for me.
